Library Hours: 
Monday: 9:00am-2:30pm
Tuesday-Friday: 9:00am-3:45pm


Book Check Out Procedure:
Every class will visit the library once a week. Students are allowed to return and exchange books more often if needed. If students DO NOT RETURN a library book they will not be allowed to check out any books until it has been returned or renewed.
Kindergarten-1st grade: 1 book per student
2nd grade-3rd grade: 2 books per student
4th grade-6th grade: 3 books per student


Checkout Periods:
Students are given a 1 week period for checkout. For example if you students checks their books out on Tuesday they will be due the following Tuesday. If books are not returned they are considered late and the student will not be allowed to check out any items until it is returned or renewed. Students are allowed to renew books up to 2 times before they have to be checked back in and put on the shelf for other students to have access to. Every Friday emails are sent out to the parents of students who have late books. These emails are a reminder of what books your student has out and the replacement cost.


NOTE: If you lose or damage library materials, you will be charged the cost to replace the materials.  All materials have to be purchased through the librarian so sending in a replacement item is not an option. Checks can be made payable to Lindon Elementary or a card may be used in the office. Once a book has been paid for there will not be a refund if it is found.
